I instituted a new system in our household this year. In addition to using a very detailed planner and household binder, we use a filing system to keep track of papers and small things we need. It’s actually a pretty easy system.
I’ll come out and say it: I am a terrible housewife. I HATE cleaning. I am bad at it. I don’t sleep well so I am tired and worn out and so on. But, I have made it a priority to get the house clean and keep it clean. I decided to take every cleaning task I could think of and divide them into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly lists and just GET THEM DONE.
Okay, okay, y'all. It's time to take over the house again. It's been over 4 years since I've felt normal (kids will do that to you!) enough to actually keep a cleaning schedule. Here's what I've come up with so far:
