This is a hard post for me to write. I’ve been putting it off because it’s so hard. I’ve actually had this post open on my computer for over a week. This weekend marks 5 years since I lost my first pregnancy.

Today, Honey Graham and I had our long, second "interview" for Froot Loop's Early Intervention. It was a long 2 1/2 hours!

Well, the ENT called back this morning. It's official... my four year old needs surgery.

So, after taking Froot Loop to the doctor a couple weeks ago for yet another ear infection, and after his 4 year checkup where his ears were still inflamed 2 weeks later after antibiotics, our doctor referred us to an ear, nose, and throat doctor. Our visit was today.

Well, I'm finally starting to feel better. Just in time for Froot Loop's birthday party. So now I'm pooped. But, I think I'm finally feeling well enough to start back up on Monday. :)

Pain. Is it stress or is it my gallbladder or appendix!?

Meeting the Early Childhood Psychologist: Starting the Process to Get into the School's Special Education Program

We've suspected for some time now that Froot Loop has some sort of issue(s) that require Early Childhood Intervention. He has several red flags of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and sensory processing and behavior issues. So, we started talking to our local elementary school about what we need to do to get him checked out and assessed. Several emails later, and today we had our first meeting with the elementary school child psychologist.
