Get a Natural Home this Autumn with Simply Earth Essential Oils

Okay, so it may still be in the 90s here in South Texas, but the calendar says it's autumn. I'm SOOOO ready for cooler temperatures. One of the ways I'm making my own autumn is with Simply Earth's October Recipe Box!

Airport Dramatic Play: Making the Airplane!

Our Vacation Bible School theme this year was The Incredible Race. I was the leader of the 3-4 year olds, so I decided to turn our room into one giant airport. The first thing I did was make a giant airplane prop for them to play in and especially to take photos in. It took me about a whole day to make, but it was totally, absolutely worth it!  It was about 11 feet long and about 5 feet high.

Wishlist Wednesday: The BOYS Made me Pick This...

Now that the boys are getting a little older and their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are improving, they're really starting to get into video games.  They'd LOVE to have a portable gaming system to take on the road or with them practically everywhere. Roundup of Sandboxes and Sand Toys!

Easter Sensory Bin

My kids love sensory bins! I don't make a TON of them, but I do enjoy putting them together for the holidays throughout the year, and then I love watching them discover the things I've put in them when I randomly leave them out for them to find. This one is a springy Easter themed one, and it's been a big hit so far!

Games & Toys for Kids Learning How To Spell

Spelling is a vital part of a child's education, and generally, kiddos start learning to spell somewhere in the preschool/pre-k/kindergarten age (unless you're Froot Loop, who started spelling his first words at age 2...). I've found a bunch of fun toys and games that can help young kids learn to spell (which also helps them on their reading journey!)
