Wishlist Wednesday: Fennel Essential Oil Edition

As y'all may know, I just LOVE Essential Oils. I use Lavender, Peppermint, Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange, Lemongrass, Roman Chamomile, and others regularly, but one I need to start using again is Fennel!!
Fennel is a bulb plant that grows sort of "feathery" leaves and celery-like stalks, and it can be used in cooking. It has notes of licorice and sometimes anise flavoring, and has MANY positive uses for the body. It's full of Vitamin C, Iron, Fiber, and Potassium.
It's widely grown in Italy and is also a huge part of the Mediterranean Diet. It's also popular in Indian food, too. It's mainly used to aid digestion, but it has a wide variety of other uses too.
The last time I used it was when Cocoa Puff was a baby. I was given a small bottle of it to help with breastfeeding. It helps with the milk supply. I just rubbed a few drops over my chest a few times a day. I'll be honest with you... I could FEEL it working. Plus, it smelled good and helped with my crazy anxiety at the beginning of Cocoa Puff's life.
It blends well with other oils such as lavender, peppermint, anise, cinnamon, frankincense, orange, and others in diffuser blends or topical blends (when used with a carrier oil).
It's also good for respiratory issues, anxiety, and menstrual issues! It can also be used to help with fatigue and restlessness.
To use as a digestive aid, you can add a couple drops to a glass of water, or put a couple drops in a capsule. Topically, it is a wonderful aid when added to coconut or sweet almond oil and massaged into the abdomen. (I like to mix it with peppermint when I do this.)
I want to use this to help kick my sugar habit. Fennel is naturally sweet, and I have heard that adding a drop to a glass of water or plain tea can help reduce sugar cravings. I'm going to have to try this!!!
Simply Earth has fennel oil (although I can't find it on Amazon at the moment) and I am hoping to try their brand since recently discovering them.
