I've got two LEGO obsessed kiddos. Cocoa Puff still prefers to play with Duplo blocks, but he's starting to get the feel of the smaller LEGOS, especially since LEGO released the LEGO juniors kits which are made for kids transitioning from Duplo to LEGO. Since our house is overrun by LEGOs, I made this LEGO table for Froot Loop out of an old piano bench!
Happy Day after Thanksgiving! I hope y'all had a wonderful day with friends and family and were able to eat lots of yummy food!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Mama Writes Reviews family! Enjoy the day and spend it with your loved ones. :)
I found another nerdy T-shirt that I'm really hoping Santa brings me for Christmas. ***POOF!*** Added to my wishlist!
Howdy-Hey! It's the time of the week for Quickie Questions once again! Here's where I ask y'all, by beloved readers, a super important question so I can get to know you a little better. Today's question is after the jump:
Ohhhhh Thanksgiving! One of my FAVORITE parts of Thanksgiving is being with my family. I used to LOVE going to family Thanksgivings where we'd all bring one of our signature dishes and we'd all eat until we were stuffed! (see what I did there?) So, I thought I'd host a Thanksgiving dinner in the blogosphere, where we all bring a dish or two to a virtual Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy!
One of the things I remember most about Thanksgiving is going to my Grandma's house, where all of my family would be. We would eat a HUGE meal and then visit and watch TV. One of my favorite dishes is this apple salad that my grandma used to make.
Froot Loop loves electricity. Don't laugh. He does. He is obsessed with becoming an electrician. He loves light switches and fans and circuits and wires. His latest big thing is watching HGTV. He recently told me that there's only ONE THING he wants for Christmas...
One of our Thanksgiving traditions we started is to do a "Thankful Tree." It is such a fun project to do as a family and it makes for a striking decoration as well!
