Bah, what a rough weekend. As terrible as it was though, we did get a few minutes of fun in... which leads me to today's Quickie Question:
During summer break, Christmas break, or other days off of school, the boys and I tend to watch a lot of music videos. We sort of leave them on in the background while we do other things, but then when one of our favorites comes in, we often stop what we're doing to watch it. Plus, if you grew up in the 90s like I did, you remember watching MTV back when it was still actually music videos? Here's some of our favorites (including a few I don't let the kids watch):
The boys made these super cute jellyfish crafts! I just LOVE how they turned out, and they were pretty easy to make, too. They'd be awesome for classrooms, ocean units, parties, etc. I'll probably even do them for my preschool church group.
Now that the boys are getting a little older and their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are improving, they're really starting to get into video games. They'd LOVE to have a portable gaming system to take on the road or with them practically everywhere. They've both requested this Nintendo Switch
Howdy y’all! It’s that time of the week again for a Quickie Question! It’s easy... I just ask y’all a question to get you talking in the comments.
We finally bought the boys a sandbox! They’ve been having so much fun scooping, digging, sifting, and molding, and Mama’s been on the hunt for new things we can play with in there. Here’s a list of some things I found!
Whether it's school break or just a rainy day or whatever and you need an educational game to keep yourself and your kids occupied for awhile, I've got you covered! Here's over 25 math games!
Y'all, they now have a LEGOland Discovery Center in SAN ANTONIO! That's right! I got tickets during a half-off promotion and we took the kids there for an end-of-school year treat. It was AMAZING.
