Froot Loop loves playing with magnets. He has them all over the house: refrigerator, dishwasher, easel, etc. We have the standard letters and numbers and a bunch of random sets I’ve picked up over the years. I also have dozens of magnets on my refrigerator. I always pick one up from every place we've traveled.
Hello, hello, hello! It's Wednesday again, which means it's Wishlist Wednesday time! That means I find something out there on Amazon that I just HAVE to have! For the first Wishlist Wednesday of July, I found a fun way to keep cool since it's already getting to triple digits here in South Texas!
Happy Independence Day! Here in the US, a lot of us have the day off as it is a national holiday celebrating the birth of our nation.
So we've now had our first ER visit... it was pretty traumatic all around, but Froot Loop handled the whole thing like a champ!
It gets so hot here in South Texas and we have to get creative to keep cool. We have a new AC unit that cost almost as much as our car and it’s worth every penny, but we still try to keep our electric bills down as much as possible and run the AC less.
One of the ways we lose so much of the cool air in our house is through our super thin windows. We still have the original windows from the 1970s… single pane, paper thin…

It's been quite the week here in our house. We had a triple threat of crazy things going on! Honey Graham was gone on a business trip, we had VBS at church, and I was helping move my dad into his apartment (Mom will follow once their current house sells or she gets a job here). I'm still recovering! I'm tired!
