The Story of Our First Trip to the Emergency Room (with a 3 year old)
So we've now had our first ER visit... it was pretty traumatic all around, but Froot Loop handled the whole thing like a champ!

It's Wishlist Wednesday time! This is the part of the week where I find something that I just have to have. This week is Froot Loop's pick! Here's what he chose:
One of our favorite activities around here was so simple and so cheap to make. It only requires two things:
I cannot believe my baby turns ONE tomorrow! This past year has gone by so fast.
It's the time of the week again where I ask a question of upmost importance! This week's question:
In a moment of inspiration, I came up with a fun idea for Cocoa Puff. He was crabby, having just gotten over a cold and missing several days of exploring and learning. I was playing with Froot Loop and I looked down and I saw a few storage bins with various blocks in them. I couldn’t remember the last time we had played with most of them, but Froot Loop wanted to continue playing with his cars and trains. I pulled out the storage bins and set them aside for later.
So, we had an incident here recently. Froot Loop was supposed to be in his room enjoying his quiet time. I was relaxing with the napping Cocoa Puff on the couch and Honey Graham was getting some much needed yardwork done.

One of my friends is having a little girl in June. She already has a little boy, so her shower invitation emphasized that her shower was actually a sprinkle. I did not know her when she had her little boy, so I wanted to make her and her little girl something special.
I made a fun discovery sensory jar. Both Cocoa Puff and Froot Loop have enjoyed playing with this magnetic discovery jar. It was very simple to do!
