Ear Tube & Adenoid Surgery Follow Up Visit with the ENT & the Audiologist: What to Expect

Today was Froot Loop's follow up visit with the ENT and the Audiologist. I decided to make a day of it and brought my mom along with us so we could go out to eat and do some shopping and stuff.

Update on Froot Loop: What Happened On the Day of Ear Tube & Adenoid Surgery

Holy cow, it was a long day. Froot Loop was up way too late last night because he was worked up and "excited" about his surgery. That set back everyone elses bedtimes and I got to bed late too. Then, of course, it had to storm all night. So, I got two hours of sleep, plus a little bit of dozing between 3-5 AM.

Surgery on schedule: How to Prepare for Ear Tube & Adenoid Removal Surgery

I had Froot Loop's pre-op visit today. Things are right on schedule for him to have his ear tube and adenoid surgery next week.

Wishlist Wednesday: I can't Believe it! Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Micro Machines!

Happy November! Halloween is over and now BAM... Christmas everywhere! It would be nice to have some Thanksgiving time in there too! Plus, now finally Pumpkin Spice season is dwindling and my favorite, CRANBERRY SEASON, is here!

Anyway, I'm off on a tangent. Here's this week's Wishlist Wednesday:

Quickie Questions: Halloween Candy & Costume Edition

Happy Halloween! October is finally almost over and the candy frenzy begins! We've already had tons of candy here: Froot Loop's birthday, Homecoming parade, cousin's birthday party... candy candy candy! Here's this week's question:

Tutorial: Paper Plate Color Sorting Rainbow Ribbon Collage Craft For Babies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.

Froot Loop suddenly loves to do simple crafts with me. FINALLY, all the craft supplies I’ve bought for him are being used, and most of the crafts are so simple that I can do them with Cocoa Puff too. We love our craft time now!

Tutorial: Easy Paper Plate Sunshine Craft For Kids Made with Supplies You Probably Already Have

“You are My Sunshine” is the first song I sang to both of my boys, and it is my go-to song whenever one of them needs some extra comfort. It holds special meaning to me because it was the song my dad sang to me when I was little as well. I love this song and I always will.

Tutorial: Fall Painting 3 Ways. So Easy, a Baby Could Do It (and he did!!)

It’s always the BEST DAY EVER when I get the paint out around here. Froot Loop has recently REALLY gotten into painting with brushes and instruments, although he still doesn’t like finger painting at all. Sensory issues… I have tried painting with Cocoa Puff a few times and he really seems to enjoy it if he’s in a good mood.

Tutorial: Turkey Can Handprint Craft To Keep Your Kids Busy While Waiting for Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving! Some people call it Turkey Day, which sort of gets on my nerves a little, but really, the meal (at least the eating part) is all about the turkey, so I can see why it’s called that.

This is a super cute turkey craft that can easily be used as centerpieces at your table or as cute gift boxes. This craft features your kiddos, but really, it’s going to have to be assembled by you, or your older kids.

Tutorial for a Fall Craft: Toilet Paper Roll & Foam Tree that Toddlers, Preschoolers, & Elementary Kids Can Make

I love autumn. I love the cooler weather and all the fun food and back when I lived out east, I LOVED the leaves changing color. I still love it, but we don’t really have a beautiful foliage down here in South Texas.
