My son's kindergarten class made these ADORABLE poinsettias. I was there helping them put them together and they were a lot of fun and very easy to make... Check out how we did them below:

We have a bit of a holiday tradition around here of having advent calendars. I made two of them... one for each kid... a couple of years ago and they're always a huge hit. The boys love counting down to Christmas!
Happy Day after Thanksgiving! I hope y'all had a wonderful day with friends and family and were able to eat lots of yummy food!
Happy Thanksgiving from the Mama Writes Reviews family! Enjoy the day and spend it with your loved ones. :)
Ohhhhh Thanksgiving! One of my FAVORITE parts of Thanksgiving is being with my family. I used to LOVE going to family Thanksgivings where we'd all bring one of our signature dishes and we'd all eat until we were stuffed! (see what I did there?) So, I thought I'd host a Thanksgiving dinner in the blogosphere, where we all bring a dish or two to a virtual Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy!
One of our Thanksgiving traditions we started is to do a "Thankful Tree." It is such a fun project to do as a family and it makes for a striking decoration as well!
There's all sorts of things you can make with handprints! I love handprint art. There's something about preserving the size of those sweet little hands... I look back on Froot Loop and Cocoa Puff's little handprints and I wonder how they ever could have been so small. They're growing up way too fast.
We're just rollin' out the Halloween crafts like crazy over here! Cocoa Puff and I made a really sweet ghost craft using only a few supplies I already had around the house. It didn't take very long and it pretty much cost nothing to make. Here is the tutorial straight from Cocoa Puff himself with a little help from Mama.
Cocoa Puff begged me to do a craft with him the other day, so I whipped up this quick, spooky, cute, Halloween craft made from some cotton balls, glue, string, paper, and a marker.
I needed an activity to keep the boys calm while I was recovering from my procedures at the GI, and I had just bought a bunch of paint, so I reached deep into the crevices of my brain and thought of this adorable craft to do with the boys.
