Froot Loop had way too much destructive energy today so I made him an obstacle course for him to roll a ball through. Then we got the idea to grab his toy golf clubs so he could hit the ball through the obstacles! After he did this a few times, we let him free play.

I made colored rice for Froot Loop and Cocoa Puff's sensory bins. It was really easy, took a reasonable amount of time (most of the time was drying time), took only a few ingredients, and has become something we play with pretty frequently.

I always have a hard time coming up with teacher gift ideas. I mean, they're so awesome and they've changed Froot Loop's life, and therefore, my life, for the better. I owe them so much! I browsed Pinterest for awhile and saw some cute ideas, and then I saw a derivative of this idea. I took the basic premise and made it my own. This is what I came up with.
Cocoa Puff and I made this really cute handprint wreath and I couldn't WAIT to share it with you! It turned out SO CUTE! It didn't take very long and he was able to do a lot of it by himself once Mama did all the tracing and cutting.
Since I have a ton of grown up coloring books, I thought I have enough to do a roundup post of them all, because some of them are definitely better and more fun than others. I don't have a ton of time to color anymore, but when I get the chance, I really, really enjoy it. Thanksgiving is coming! If you need a fun, quick, and easy activity to keep the kiddos busy for a little while on Thanksgiving Day, this might be an option for you! Or, maybe your kids have the whole week off like mine does and you really need something to do with them. In any case, it’s really cute and very easy, so little hands can participate too.
Crafts are great. I'm blessed with a crafty brain and I enjoy doing them on my own as well with my boys. I'm also the planner/organizer/leader of our Wednesday night 3-6 year old Bible study group and I include a craft or two each week. I also do lots of crafts with my boys. Toward the end of this month, we'll start doing Christmas crafts. I come up with a lot of ideas on my own, but I found some ready to go craft kids on Amazon that I'd love to share with y'all.
I’ve already made a few turkey crafts with the boys, but I couldn’t resist making this one too! It was a great opportunity to work on sorting colors and we ended up with really cute turkeys to boot. Both of the boys needed minimal help (just supervision), and I'm so happy with how they turned out!
