A few years ago, my mother-in-law introduced me to the wonderful world of Grown-Up Coloring. Do a search for grown up coloring book or adult coloring book and there are an overwhelming number of options.
When I was little, my Grandma had a bunch of prisms hanging from her west windows. When the sun would go down, the sun would shine into that front window and through all of the prisms, making rainbows all over the place. It is one of my favorite memories.

As Froot Loop grew into preschooler age, his dexterity and curiosity grew too. One of his favorite things to do is to help me in the kitchen. He has a set of nylon knives that he LOVES to cut up soft foods with. Since he loves this so much, we bought him the Melissa and Doug cutting food set.
Melissa and Doug has several sets of play food that work well in just about any play kitchen. One of them is the Let’s Play House Grocery Can set.
We started using coconut oil in our household about a year ago. We replaced olive oil as our cooking oil of choice. I also use it for my homemade skin products. I even use it on the boys and dogs.
