Although we didn't really have a baby shower for Cocoa Puff and I didn't make up his bedroom any special way, his unofficial "theme" was (and still is) Winnie the Pooh. The kid LOVES Winnie the Pooh.
Every once in a while, we find a toy that doesn't light up, doesn't make noise, doesn't use batteries, and yet sparks the imagination of the boys and they play with it for HOURS. Here's another one of those toys.
My boys LOVE trucks. My oldest even had a Construction Truck birthday party and I'm pretty sure Cocoa Puff is going to have a fire truck party for his 3rd birthday this summer.
I have been using stevia for years. I hate artificial sweeteners and they do TERRIBLE things to your body. Stevia is a plant, and it is 300 times sweeter than sugar. It is also better for you than regular table sugar.
On Tuesday, I published a post about the National Geographic geode kit. We've got another National Geographic kit that's a Meteorite dig kit. Read on for more:
I have always been a geology fan. Although I'm considered to have a B.S. in Physics, my actual degree is in Earth/Space Science. I took a LOT of Earth Science courses in college, including Physical Geography and Geology, Climatology, etc. One of the things I've always been fascinated by is geodes and how they're formed, so when I found this geode breaking kit for sale, I had to try it with Froot Loop!
Valentine's Day is a month from tomorrow and I've been inundated with pink, red, and purple stuff EVERYWHERE already. I guess I'll jump on board and share some Valentine's Day craft kits and supplies with y'all. I never enjoyed Valentine's day as a teenager and adult until I had kids. Now, Valentine's Day is TONS OF FUN!
On Tuesday, I wrote about the Kindle Fire. Today, I will share with you some of our favorite apps. Most are available through Amazon Underground, meaning that the games are always free and have no in app purchases or ads. Hooray!
Amazon.com had their Kindle Fires on sale recently. Froot Loop has really been enjoying playing on his computer and my ipad, especially spelling games and videos about shapes and colors and letters and numbers.
We decided to buy a Kindle Fire for Kids (Fire Kids) for him and Cocoa Puff. (they have to share!)
