It's finally getting a little colder here in South Texas. We had a brief cold snap earlier, but it lasted only 2 days! I'm from the mountains... I want some COLD WEATHER!

Wow, it's finally February. January seemed to be way too long. Let's move on to February. Anyway, it's Wednesday: WISHLIST WEDNESDAY, where I put an item that I just HAVE to HAVE onto my wishlist!
I’ll come out and say it: I am a terrible housewife. I HATE cleaning. I am bad at it. I don’t sleep well so I am tired and worn out and so on. But, I have made it a priority to get the house clean and keep it clean. I decided to take every cleaning task I could think of and divide them into daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly lists and just GET THEM DONE.
I recently did a major purge on our bath toys. I got rid of a lot of the ones that were baby toys and I got rid of nearly every single squirter toy since I found mold in one of them (GROSS). The two I did keep, I cleaned profusely and dried and then sealed the squirty hole with super glue.
Dude. I don't use our oven that much, especially in the summer (since it gets so stinking hot here in South Texas!). But, I do like to bake, and one of things I hate doing the most is getting the cooking sheets out of the oven. I burned myself once and I think I'm still afraid of doing it again! This week's Wishlist Wednesday would really go a long way in preventing that problem. Check it out:
Happy Monday! I hope y'all had a good weekend. I got a lot done here around the house despite me being really sick. I accidentally inhaled a mouthful of dust and junk the other day and am having major allergy attacks. Ugh! Woot woot, it's Wednesday! We're halfway through the week. That means it's Wishlist Wednesday time! Froot Loop has early dismissal today (it's only 15 minutes, but that's because he only goes for a half day anyway) because the school district is hosting an academic competition.
Anyway, I've been trying to get my house organized. I've been looking for gadgets and doodads to get my stuff together. I found this awesome spice rack and I really think I just have to have it.
