DIY Advent calendars for kids
We have a bit of a holiday tradition around here of having advent calendars. I made two of them... one for each kid... a couple of years ago and they're always a huge hit. The boys love counting down to Christmas!

Y'all! I have a HUGE announcement to make regarding Usborne Books & More:
There's all sorts of things you can make with handprints! I love handprint art. There's something about preserving the size of those sweet little hands... I look back on Froot Loop and Cocoa Puff's little handprints and I wonder how they ever could have been so small. They're growing up way too fast.
Oh boy. We were watching Network TV the other day (we don't usually because we have a Roku) and a commercial came on. Cocoa Puff got SOOOO excited and yelled, "I HOPE SANTA CLAUS BRINGS THAT FOR ME AT CHRISTMAS!" I was so taken aback that I couldn't help but laugh. It's already started, I guess! I mean, Christmas Eve is already only 2 months away...
We're just rollin' out the Halloween crafts like crazy over here! Cocoa Puff and I made a really sweet ghost craft using only a few supplies I already had around the house. It didn't take very long and it pretty much cost nothing to make. Here is the tutorial straight from Cocoa Puff himself with a little help from Mama.
Cocoa Puff begged me to do a craft with him the other day, so I whipped up this quick, spooky, cute, Halloween craft made from some cotton balls, glue, string, paper, and a marker.
I needed an activity to keep the boys calm while I was recovering from my procedures at the GI, and I had just bought a bunch of paint, so I reached deep into the crevices of my brain and thought of this adorable craft to do with the boys.
The boys and I did a flurry of painting lately. The boys' favorite was painting a Halloween picture using cookie cutters!
Halloween, that holiday where you get a million little kids all dressed up as monsters and Spongebob and fairy princesses knocking at your door all asking for candy!!! However, perhaps you don't want to give MORE candy, perhaps you would like to give a little trinket instead. I got ya covered... here's a list of a bunch of different halloween favors you can give those little cuties instead of more sweet stuff.
Hey there! It's that time of the week again for Quickie Questions, where I ask y'all a question to get some discussion going in the comments! This week's question has to do with lullabies:
