Froot Loop loves playing with magnets. He has them all over the house: refrigerator, dishwasher, easel, etc. We have the standard letters and numbers and a bunch of random sets I’ve picked up over the years. I also have dozens of magnets on my refrigerator. I always pick one up from every place we've traveled.

Yep, that's my fridge. Lots of magnets. That other side is also decorated with several magnets. That's where I hang my oven mitts and the few restaurant menus we keep around.

This clear shoe box is where we keep Froot Loop's magnets. He has so many and he loves to set them up and play with them.

He got these fun vehicle magnets for Christmas. He played with them every day on my parents’ dishwasher while we were there. There’s 20 sturdy wooden magnets with a picture glued on. The 20 vehicles included are: Airplane, 18-Wheeler, Helicopter, Monster Truck, Backhoe, Garbage Truck, Sports Car, Fire Engine, School Bus, Dump Truck, Tractor, Police Car, Bulldozer, Ambulance, Steamroller, Cement Mixer, Limousine, Motorcycle, Tow Truck, and Forklift.

His favorite is the helicopter. I randomly find that one on magnetic surfaces around the house.

Here are some other funny magnets I’m considering for him.

Butts! I laughed so hard when I saw these. The set of six safari animal butts includes giraffe, leopard, lion, elephant, tiger and hippo. That hippo butt is hilarious.

Of course I had to check out the other sets that the seller has.

Shark butts! Well, 3 shark butts. This set of 6 includes 3 shark faces and the 3 matching shark butts. There’s something oddly satisfying about holding up a note on the fridge with a shark butt magnet.

More butts! I sent this set of 6 cat butt magnets to my sister. No note. No warning. Nothing. I got a call from her one evening and she just laughed. She told me that this was hilarious and that it had my name all over it. Mission accomplished!

More butts! Here’s a set of 5 dogs and a hydrant. A Hydrant! That’s what makes this set so silly, as if buying animal butt magnets isn’t silly enough! The set has a Scottie butt, Pug butt, Retriever butt, Dalmatian butt, Poodle butt, and hydrant. Hilarious.

This last set has 6 more farm animal butts. It includes horse, rooster, pig, bull, cow and sheep butts. Guess what!? Chicken butt!

Okay, that’s enough butt magnets. I swear I have the sense of humor of a 5 year old...

iphone apps magnets! Froot Loop has always loved my iphone. I actually found this set of 18 different app magnets in my parents’ garage sale and I said “Why are you selling these? These are awesome!” and then walked off with them. They’ve been on my fridge for years now. Froot Loop loves to use these to hold his pictures.

Mustaches make everything funner! This is a set of 6 different mustaches. I would get these just to place on pictures of people and give them funny face. ‘Cuz I’m mature like that!

Gross! These chewed gum magnets are gross and yet oddly amusing… and they come as a set of FOUR different colors! How cool is that? You can have your choice of flavor!

We love butterflies. These 12 colorful butterfly magnets look so pretty. They would look really cool on his easel. I think I’m going to order these right now, actually…

I think I want these! It’s a set of 28 Pac-Man themed magnets! I love the little fruits. And there’s even dots!

I have a set of Tetris magnets that I sometimes play with. Froot Loop has lost about half of them I think, even though I had them at the top of the refrigerator. He must have found the step stool.

Star Trek magnets! I like this set of 4 insignias slightly better than the set of Kirk, Spock, Scotty, and the Enterprise, but that’s probably only because I may or may not be slightly obsessed with Klingons.

I do really like the trio of command, science, and engineering insignias though. I really really want a science insignia badge! (My birthday is coming up, you know)

Oh! These rocket building magnets would be so fun for the car or waiting at a restaurant, etc. A hinged tin holds 4 illustrated background scenes on 2 double-sided cards plus 3 sheets of interchangeable magnets. I can see lots of fun having with these!

Yes! How fun! Educational, too! This is a great way to teach kiddos about the systems of the body. I also love that they are anatomically correct. I think it’s important to teach that boys and girls have different parts at a young age.

I got these colorful shape magnets for Cocoa Puff for his birthday. He tries to play along with Froot Loop and his magnets, but his cute little hands have trouble manipulating the small pieces (Plus I don’t want him tempted to put them in his mouth!). He plays with this set all the time. There’s 25 different shapes and they’re in various colors. He’s learning how to hold the magnets the right way to put them on our magnetic easel. They’re so much fun! I love the Melissa and Doug magnets because they're perfect for small hands. There's a cute dinosaur, animal, and farm set that I may get for him down the road. I think both boys could play with them, and maybe even one day they'll play with them together!

Well, I think that about wraps up this roundup. What I want to know is how many magnets do you have on your refrigerator?
