Essential Oils have become a very popular commodity. Google “Essential Oils” and get About 58,500,000 results! Search “Essential Oils” on Amazon and get 238,576 results! Needless to say, people are crazy about their essential oils!
I have written about essential oils and carrier oils HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. This is the next in the Essential Oil series: additives for homemade products containing these items.
My kids LOVE baths. They LOVE LOVE LOVE baths. Often, if they're in a bad mood that I just can't snap them out of, I'll just put them in the bath, and they almost always feel better.
One of our favorite brands of toys is Rhino O Ball. We have a lot of their toys and the company is coming out with new toys all the time. These toys have distinctive circle shaped holes that are absolutely perfect for young babies to grab. Babies can stick their fingers in the holes and really grab ahold of the toys. They are fantastic first toys, but toddlers and preschoolers can get a lot of enjoyment out of them too.
My kiddos have always loved baths. We have a small variety of bath toys, but sometimes, you know, you just need to do something different. Santa Claus brought a fun new bath item and the boys have fallen in love with it!
We started using coconut oil in our household about a year ago. We replaced olive oil as our cooking oil of choice. I also use it for my homemade skin products. I even use it on the boys and dogs.
Shea butter is great. I have used it alone and mixed with other ingredients to make body butters and other products and it feels great. It makes your skin so soft and smooth. It smells okay (a little different) and doesn't leave greasy residue on your skin. It's great for dry skin and small abrasions.
Here is another entry in my series of essential oil posts! This week’s post is actually about a carrier oil called Almond Oil, which is a newer oil for me!
Here's another installment of the essential oils I love to use! This week is Lemon!
