Well, now that we've had a few days of crafts this week to celebrate Earth Day week, I thought I'd try something a little different today!

So, we’re more than 3 months from Christmas, and one of the things Froot Loop is still playing with is his Learning Resources City Engineering & Design Building Set. This kid. He really wants to be an elecrical engineer. He is getting so good at visualizing and building things...
Froot Loop has been interested in Shopkins for several months now. Yes, I know they're more of a "girl" toy, but they're really cute and he likes to collect them and play with them, so I'm cool with it. Boys can play with "girl" toys just like girls can play with "boy" toys!
I was looking through some old photos of the boys and I found these of Cocoa Puff's birthday. I had put this fun toy on his Amazon wishlist and my Grandma purchased it and had it sent to us.
Although we didn't really have a baby shower for Cocoa Puff and I didn't make up his bedroom any special way, his unofficial "theme" was (and still is) Winnie the Pooh. The kid LOVES Winnie the Pooh.
Every once in a while, we find a toy that doesn't light up, doesn't make noise, doesn't use batteries, and yet sparks the imagination of the boys and they play with it for HOURS. Here's another one of those toys.
My boys LOVE trucks. My oldest even had a Construction Truck birthday party and I'm pretty sure Cocoa Puff is going to have a fire truck party for his 3rd birthday this summer.
On Tuesday, I published a post about the National Geographic geode kit. We've got another National Geographic kit that's a Meteorite dig kit. Read on for more:
I have always been a geology fan. Although I'm considered to have a B.S. in Physics, my actual degree is in Earth/Space Science. I took a LOT of Earth Science courses in college, including Physical Geography and Geology, Climatology, etc. One of the things I've always been fascinated by is geodes and how they're formed, so when I found this geode breaking kit for sale, I had to try it with Froot Loop!
Coffee. Cappuccino. Latte. Espresso. Americano. Whatever form it comes in, I'll take it. I LOVE my coffee. I have a cup (just one, because I have anxiety and panic attacks and mild insomnia and too much caffeine causes BAD things to happen). However, I drink as much pretend coffee as my kids make me.
