Back to School! Back to Pre- K and we're so cool! So Exciting!

Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your summer. We kept super busy here with swimming lessons, Vacation Bible School, Gymnastics, helping my parents move, topped off with a vacation. 

Here he is, going off to his first day of all-day pre-k! He had a great day. He had fun. He gets to eat breakfast AND lunch at school. He also gets to have P.E. AND music on top of all the other fun things he did last year. We do have a new speech therapist this year, but she seems super nice and super awesome. We talked for 20 minutes yesterday at meet the teacher and for several minutes today when she called me. I think we have a good battle plan. 

That means, I get to spend all day with this Goober. We had fun today. We watched an educational YouTube video, read about birds, did some drawing, played, etc. Then, we walked to the post office to get mail and to the local thrift shop. We played outside until he got hungry and then we ate lunch with Daddy and he took a nice long nap. I hope to do a little bit of "school" work with him on most days and do something fun with him when we walk to the post office just like I used to do with Froot Loop before Cocoa Puff was born. 

It was a little disorienting not having Froot Loop around all day. I didn't quite know what to do with myself. I should have done some more around the house, but I'll get there. I did walk the half mile to and from school to drop him off and pick him up, and I hope to keep doing that. I have almost 11500 steps today! 

I hope to get this started up again, but it will probably be kind of slowly because I need to get used to our new routine. 

Froot Loop is acting insane since he's been home, but we had a snack, did our piano practicing, and folded clothes, so he's probably done. If he would just stop fighting with his brother, I'd be okay.
