Turtle Soup, Turtle Neck, Turtle Bath? Review of Munchkin's Bath Turtle Bath Toy for Babies & Toddlers

My kids LOVE baths. They LOVE LOVE LOVE baths. Often, if they're in a bad mood that I just can't snap them out of, I'll just put them in the bath, and they almost always feel better.
These cute bath turtles were one of the first bath toys Froot Loop had. Each one is a different set of bright colors and does something different. The orange and yellow one has a rattle in it. The green and purple one has a spinner ball, and the blue and yellow one features a mirror.
The great thing about these is that they are entirely closed, meaning no water can get inside of them. We’ve had them over 3 years and not a drop has gotten inside. They have never gotten moldy or mildewy, even with our nasty hard water.
Both boys love playing with these. The manufacturer recommends these for ages 12 months and up, but Cocoa Puff and Froot Loop both loved playing with them much much younger than that.
The turtles are made with a hard plastic. The rattle and the mirror have a large, clear dome to allow you to see the fun inside. The spinner ball is just the spinner part, but it is a lot of fun for little fingers to play with. Both boys love shaking the rattle. Froot Loop’s favorite was the spinner turtle. His little fingers just spun it over and over. Cocoa Puff enjoys the mirror the most. They all float great and don’t really turn upside down that much.
We have played with these in the bathtub and the pool. They’ve even traveled cross country with us because both boys love them and they don’t take up too much room. They fit just fine in the bath bag.
It’s fun to watch the turtles float, especially when the boys splash and make waves. The rattle turtle makes a little bit of noise in the waves, which makes Cocoa Puff giggle.
This is the perfect gift for a baby shower. The turtles are adorable and are good for developing the senses in the tub.
Which one of these three turtles is your favorite?
