I was recently talking to a few moms in our playgroup about Christmas presents that aren't toys. I had mentioned these fun craft boxes from Green Kid Crafts. They have lots of new things now, including single boxes as well as subscription services.

Holy Cow. I am so excited. Green Kid Crafts just released their holiday craft boxes! Check them out HERE.

The thanksgiving box looks like so much fun.

Get ready for Thanksgiving with this limited edition Discovery Box full of festive projects for the entire family! Create a colorful Tree of Thanks Centerpiece and take turns writing blessings on the autumn leaves, then display this meaningful decoration on the table at Thanksgiving dinner. Make some fun Turkey Place Sculptures to add style to your table AND a special keepsake memory for your dinner companions! This box was part of our subscription program and is a great representation of what subscribers receive each month.

The felt Stacked Tree Ornament Kit is an unique alternative to conventional holiday ornaments. This Creativity Kit comes with 15 recycled felt circles, adhesive felt, ribbon, wooden dowel and instructions. Kids will have fun stacking the felt circles from largest to smallest and will be proud to create their own special keepsake ornament, which they can keep for themselves or gift to a loved one. Height is approximately 5” from tip of star to bottom of trunk.

Our Swirly Ornament Kit is a kid favorite and a unique alternative to conventional holiday ornaments. Kids will have a blast swirling paint around the clear balls and will be proud to create their own special keepsake ornament. This Creativity Kit comes with enough supplies to create two beautiful, one-of-a-kind ornaments including 2 clear ball ornaments, organza ribbon, metallic paint and instructions. Circumference is approximately 3.5”

The Holidays around the World box is the box I really want to get for my kids. The cultural crafts in this Around the World Pack will take your traveler to six exciting places: Japan, India, Africa, Guatemala, Australia, and China. At each stop we’ll find a wealth of crafting inspiration as we learn about a unique culture and holiday traditions while developing our appreciation for the differences that make the world, and its people, beautiful. Projects include making Diwali Candles from India, designing an African Mask, making Japanese Lanterns, creating a Chinese Hand Kite that really flies, Aboriginal Rock Art from Australia, and Guatemalan Worry Dolls and a Worry Box from South America. This box also comes with a Passport Sticker Book and a full size world map.

Oh my goodness, there's discovery boxes for so many different things for the 2 year olds and up: arctic, birds, dinosaurs, botany, superheroes, legends/folktales, insects, and even a nanobug!

For kiddos a little older, there's even more possibilities: volcanoes, robots, space, water, rainforest, ocean, kitchen science, green energy, and a mining set.

They also recently released Junior Discovery Boxes and Literary Discovery Boxes! The new Junior Discovery Box Subscriptions are educator-designed for kids ages 2-4 to encourage play-based learning. Similar to our Discovery Boxes (ages 5-10+), each Junior Discovery Box will include up to 6 or more STEAM kits, quality project materials, step-by-step instructions, and achievement badges.

They have also just launched a Literary Discovery Box Subscription! This option includes an age-appropriate, educator-approved book shipment related to each month's Discovery Box theme. Books are carefully selected to reinforce each month's theme and are guaranteed to enhance STEAM learning concepts.

From now on, each Discovery Box will include 4-page instruction booklets for each project and an awesome 12-page activity magazine featuring hands-on activities, parent resources, puzzles, and more - all for no extra cost!

This seriously would make a super fun, unique, and amazing Christmas gift. Plus, it's the gift that keeps on giving if you order a subscription since they'll get a box every month. Some of the options even have a sibling option, which includes another set of materials for another child for a small extra cost.

ORDER HERE TODAY.

This is such a great idea. We made blown glass ornaments a few years ago. but now that there are littles in my family this would make a great alternative for my nieces.
