Wishlist Wednesday: My Husband will NOT let me buy this!

I am sorely disappointed. Honey Graham will NOT let me buy this week's Wishlist Wednesday:

I mean really! We're working on remodeling our small 3/4 guest bathroom and turning it from a green, "vine" theme into a turquoise/aqua/teal beach theme. I've got new flooring picked out and new towels, toothbrush holder, soap dish, trash can, shower curtain, shelves, and decor. I even have the tile adhesive, grout, trowel, and grout sealant ready to go. I still need to pick out my paint color and the glass tile I'm going to put above the shower...

... anyway, tangent! (I tend to do that, you know). That will be a project and a series of blog posts for another day.

I wanted this sign to put on the bathroom door and he won't let me get it! I mean, I know it's more of a nautical theme than for a beach theme, but I thought it would have been cute and fun. Besides, the rear deck of a sailing vessel above the captain's quarters- the Poop Deck- gained its name from French origins, derived from la poupe, or stern. SO THERE!

What color is/are your bathroom(s)? Do you do projects such as tiling and painting by yourself?

My husband and I completely gutted a bathroom down to the studs and re-did it ourselves. Such a headache. My bathroom is white and gray.

Well, he’s no fun! LOL. I love the sign! Maybe if you get enough support online, he will reconsider;) I am currently working on a guest bath that had (uggh) wallpaper. The paper came off easily but the paste underlayer not so much. It has this odd brown marble tile on the floors and for the counter that I am rolling with. I am going to paint the vanity black and add some brass accents. It’s not my usual style at all but I think it will be kind of vintage chic. Good luck!

OH Lord, I'm so glad I don't have to deal with wallpaper. It was bad enough having to paint over all the freaking wood paneling in this house!

HAHAHA! Well, my husband inherited a Finnish sauna sign that includes sketches of "nakedness" and I allowed him to hang it in our house (granted, it's the laundry closet, but it's still there!). I figure I should be allowed to have this POOP DECK sign!

Too funny! Our master bathroom is currently a peachy/pink with awful wallpaper. We have been renovating our entire house since we moved in last April, from ripping up the carpets and replacing with new wood floors, painting, replacing all of the trim and door trims. Unfortunately the bathrooms will be the last ones remodeled. Counting down the days though!

Oh, the joys of home ownership! This poor house was completely neglected for YEARS before we bought it and it definitely showed. The ENTIRE house was this HIDEOUS wood paneling, so I had to paint the entire house before we officially moved in. There's a lot of little quirky things I need to fix and several major things too.

Haha I actually have seen this exact sign! I stayed at a tiny houseboat in Charleston last year and the bathroom had this sign on the door. It was so cute!
