14 Valentine's Day Crafts & Craft Supplies for Toddlers & Kids (See what I did there?)

Valentine's Day is a month from tomorrow and I've been inundated with pink, red, and purple stuff EVERYWHERE already. I guess I'll jump on board and share some Valentine's Day craft kits and supplies with y'all. I never enjoyed Valentine's day as a teenager and adult until I had kids. Now, Valentine's Day is TONS OF FUN!
The kiddos in my preschool/kinder Bible study class LOVE scratch art! For Valentine's Day, here's a set of Scratch Art Hearts. The kit comes with 24 pieces of heart shaped scratch paper, 12 scratching sticks, and 24 red ribbons to hang them. I've had good success with this brand before, too.
Back before Thanksgiving, I did a "What we're grateful" craft like this one, but it had fall leaves instead of Valentine Hearts. I wrote each child's name on one of the leaves and then had each kid tell me 3 things they were thankful for.
Then, I taped each leaf onto the 5 foot tall tree, with the things they're thankful for surrounding the names. I plan on doing that again with this heart tree. It also works well with our "Fruits of the Spirit" theme.
Gotta have those heart doilies for Valentine's Day crafting!
This is a decent set of Valentine's confetti either for crafting or just for decor. It would be easy to have kiddos draw shapes with glue and then sprinkle handfuls of glitter and confetti over the glue.
Here we have an adorable Snoopy craft set.
I am loving this "love you to pieces" heart with the puzzle pieces!
Here's two Snoopy hearts: one with Woodstock and one with Charlie Brown.
Finally, it has a really cute hanging heart. My kids would love making these, partly because we love Snoopy in this house!
You'll have a "hoot" with these Valentine's Owls!. They are really cute.
These adorable ladybugs would be a quick, easy, and cute craft for even toddlers.
We do lots of crafts with pompoms, so here's a set with red, pink, and white pompoms for all of your Valentine's crafts!
A super simple craft is to get these heart stickers and stick them to foam sheets or paper or whatever! My boys did sticker crafts from about the time they could pick them up.
I absolutely LOVE Alex craft kits. They come all ready to go, all prepackaged, with everything you need. There is virtually ZERO set up and they're just fantastic! I am super excited about their Valentine's package.
It has everything you need to make over 10 lovely projects including cards, jewelry and picture frames! Includes an album, picture frame, cards, beads, ribbons, paper, foam, fabric and felt shapes, papers, buttons, embroidery floss, needle, zig zag scissors, glue stick, glitter glue, brooch pin, elastic, sticky dots and easy instructions.
The bracelets are pretty cool!
For those kiddos who love to make jewelry, this is a set that has "love bugs!".
It has string, beads, and hanging bug charms. Super cute.
This craft is more for older kids.
It is a set of 5 bowls which you can paint with glitter paint and glue.
The kit comes with two bottles of glue, five heart-shaped molds, five tubes of glitter, one brush, and only two plastic bowls for mixing the glue and glitter.
The kit says ages 8 and up, and that's probably about right. They look really cute though!
Here's another necessity for Valentine's crafting: large foam hearts. These are perfect for putting those foam stickers from above onto.
Melissa and Doug also have a cute heart craft. It includes a wooden box, glitter glue, white glue, colorful gems, 4 pots of paint and a brush.
You can paint, decorate, and put stickers on it!
I love that it includes all of these supplies to encourage open-ended creativity
Froot Loop really wants one of these and I think I'm going to get him one. He loves to paint and he can handle stickers pretty well.
Finally, I found a set of heart shaped foam wreath molds. I love making wreaths for holidays. For this one, I'd use tulle and mesh and probably lots of sparkle!
Do you go all out for Valentine's Day?
