Magic Foam Stickers: Here's How to Make Your Own

I don't know how or why I thought of this activity, but it's been a favorite around here since Froot Loop was about 18 months old! It's SO simple and you'll get hours of fun out of it with your littles!
You really only need ONE thing to make it (well okay, two if you count scissors).
This is just your basic craft foam.
Here's what I did (and you don't have to do this, but it made it easy and fun!)
I traced the following Melissa and Doug Chunky Puzzle Pieces onto the foam sheets:
shapes, sea life, safari animals, dinosaurs, construction vehicles, insects, and Winnie the Pooh.
Then, I just cut them out!
I put them in the bathtub one day because I noticed that they were sort of the same consistency as the bathtub foam letters we had, so I just let Froot Loop have at it.
This is what he did. I LOVE it! He put them ALL over the bathtub and the walls around the bathtub and asked for more and more shapes! We worked on colors and shapes and identifying the vehicles and animals during bathtime. It was so much fun for him and he didn't even know he was learning!
One day, I thought I'd try to see if they stuck on our glass screen door, and of course, they did, which was a lot of fun! I gave the boys a small bowl with a little water and told them to dip the foam shapes into the water and then stick them on the window. They had a lot of giggles and a lot of fun!
They stuck on the window for about a day until they dried off and the water evaporated.
