I’m now going to share with you one of the easiest, most fun “recipes” I have in my arsenal. Prepare to be dazzled!

Here’s what you need:

silicone ice cube tray

dried fruit

mixed nuts

Marshmallow bits

Peanut Butter

Melting Chocolate

White candy

Sprinkles

Butterscotch chips

or other flavored chips depending on what you like.

Optional sticks

I make these all the time. The silicone mold makes the chocolate bites super easy. If you want to make “pops” out of them, then you can easily add a stick to it. I fill the cavity about ⅓ of the way, let it set, then put the stick in and put more chocolate in. If you can stick the stick (ha) into something to give it extra support, then you don’t have to hold it (you can just let it sit in there at an angle too if you don’t care how it looks. Typically, I just let it sit in there because the chocolate doesn’t really last that long anyway after it’s ready.

So, yeah, this is basically the easiest thing in the world. Melt the chocolate, add any toppings or flavorings, pour into the mold. If you want the toppings on the outside, put them in the cavities before filling with chocolate. If you want a middle layer, put a layer of chocolate in, let it set, put the filling in, let it set if needed, then put the bottom layer of chocolate in and let it set as well. If you want a filling, put a layer of chocolate in roll the chocolate around the sides of the mold so that the sides are covered. Repeat if necessary to have a thick enough edge to contain your filling. Then, add your filling, let set (if needed), and finish with a top layer of chocolate.

I use the colored candy to add fun stripes and designs after making the chocolate squares. It’s easy to melt and then just make stripes or loops or whatever.

These are fun to do with the kids too. Froot Loop likes to help add the add-ins and toppings. We’ve used all sorts of different things to flavor our chocolate. We’ve used granola, cereal, potato chips, apples, oranges, pineapple, etc.

For more fun, try different shapes of the silicone ice cube trays. You can get as fancy or simple as you want with the chocolate, too. Since the silicone is so flexible, the chocolates just pop out after they’re hardened. Believe me, they don’t last long.

Enjoy!

What is your favorite chocolate?
