What the heck IS this game? It's called Exploding Kittens...

What? Exploding Kittens? Okay, this I’ve gotta find out more about…
Exploding Kittens is a card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats.
It’s a Family-friendly party game for 2-5 players (up to 9 players when combined with any other deck).
And apparently, it’s the most-backed KickStarter project ever and it has illustrations by The Oatmeal!
In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.
Okay!
There’s Expansion packs and other versions available too.
This sounds really interesting, and I’m looking forward to trying it. Honey Graham got it for Christmas, actually, but we haven’t gotten a chance to play it yet.
It appears that there’s a lot of rules to play the game, so keep that in mind the first time you play it.
Have you played this game? Is it fun? Do you like it?
