That's WRITE: Review of a handwriting workbook for Pre-K and Kindergarten

Froot Loop loves to write, especially since he learned to read last year. His fine motor skills are still a little behind, so we've got to do extra work at the advisement of his amazing occupational therapist.
I found this neat Writing Prompt and Letter Tracing book on Amazon. I thought it would be a great way to encourage his writing.
Writing a full sentence is hard, and this journal is here to help! Your child can practice their handwriting by tracing the writing prompt on each page, and then complete the sentence by using one of the suggested words. There are also blank pages without prompts or word suggestions in the second half of the book to allow your child to write on their own.
There’s several simple sentences for kiddos to write:
Their age,
Their address,
Where they like to visit,
Their favorite food,
Etc.
I was hoping that there’d be some more writing prompts, but it’s more of a graduated, taper-off approach. I think this is a great way to introduce and reinforce writing those letters, and it’s not just a worksheet or a writing page where they have to write the same letter over and over again.
This is a good idea for summer and breaks, and we will continue with these pages for the rest of the school year and into summer.
Where’s YOUR favorite place to visit?
