Boo! It's a Ghost! Made from Cotton Balls!

Cocoa Puff begged me to do a craft with him the other day, so I whipped up this quick, spooky, cute, Halloween craft made from some cotton balls, glue, string, paper, and a marker.

It was SO easy!

I started by tracing his hands on some white cardstock.

He really wanted to trace his own hand and I let him try, but he's not there yet.

He also asked me to trace his feet since the act of tracing tickles them and he LOVES being tickled!

Then, after they were traced, I put a bunch of glue and spread it all over all 4 shapes.

Then, Cocoa Puff went to town putting bunches of cotton balls all over the glue.

When he was done, we squished them down so that they'd stick better.

I cut out the shapes and let them dry.

For the feet, we decided to make a double sided ghost, so I taped some string to one of the feet, then glued both feet together.

Then, you just need to draw your ghost's face and you're done!

For the hands, we did not make them double sided since they were a lot harder to cut out and the fingers didn't line up. I taped the string to the back of the hands and now all three ghosts are hanging from the mantle on the fireplace.

Are your ghosts scary ghosts or nice ghosts?

This is adorable - both the end result of that fluffy ghost as well as all the steps with the little kids' feet. Made me smile. Thank you!

I guess if I’ll teach this to my nephews, they’re not the only ones who are going to learn
