Thanksgiving Potluck Post: A Roundup of Recipes!

Ohhhhh Thanksgiving! One of my FAVORITE parts of Thanksgiving is being with my family. I used to LOVE going to family Thanksgivings where we'd all bring one of our signature dishes and we'd all eat until we were stuffed! (see what I did there?) So, I thought I'd host a Thanksgiving dinner in the blogosphere, where we all bring a dish or two to a virtual Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy!
Appetizers:
I just LOVE a good appetizer. I can't think of a much better way to start off Thanksgiving than with these delicious-looking Cheesy Mushroom Puff Pastry Bites from Live Laugh Learn!
And speaking of delicious, how amazing would Yummy Lil' Things' [Pepperoncinis with Cream Cheese and Salami] look on your Thanksgiving table?
Salads:
My Grandma's Apple Salad Recipe was always one of the biggest hits at our family Thanksgivings. We'd always have to make a double batch and even then, there wouldn't be that much leftover for us to fight for.
Soups:
I am practically DROOLING over this Instant Pot Turkey and Rice Soup Recipe over on These Lovely Acres. I think it's a BRILLIANT way to either A) take a different twist on the traditional turkey, or B) use up all of that leftover turkey. Yum yum yum!
One of my favorite easy and flexible soups that I make all the time is my Butternut Squash Soup. I make it almost every fall and I can tweak it to accommodate whatever other produce I have on hand. It also pairs REALLY well with turkey, just saying!
Sides:
A Thanksgiving dinner is not complete without some sort of squash dish! This recipe from Super Mom Hacks is one of the easiest and most versatile ways to make squash!
These Lovely Acres calls this Bacon and Butternut Squash Casserole "The Perfect Thanksgiving Side Dish" and I have to say, it's gonna be hard to argue that! The flavors of the bacon and butternut squash together just sound sooooo appetizing!
I am so excited about this next recipe. It's Sweet Potato Bites from The Girl Outnumbered. It's just BRILLIANT! I love a good sweet potato, but a bite-sized version with all my favorite toppings on it? HEAVEN!
These Old-Fashioned Oven Baked Apples really could go either as a side dish or a dessert, but personally, I'd probably devour them right alongside my turkey, so I'm going to place it right here with the other side dishes.
Turkey!:
Here we are, y'all. The main event of our meal. Make a Mom Smile was kind enough to share the Best Turkey Recipe Ever. I'm going to have seconds... maybe even thirds!
Desserts:
Let's start off our delicious selection of desserts with Soon To Be Charming's Walnut Blondie recipe. My mouth is watering just looking at the pictures!
Soon To Be Charming also offers a really intriguing Pumpkin Pie Cupcake recipe I'm not a huge fan of pie crust but I LOVE pumpkin pie, so these are RIGHT UP MY ALLEY!
If cookies are more your jam, you've GOTTA go check out these Chai Spiced Shortbread Cookies from Lexis Rose! Aren't they beautiful?
Of course, we need a classic pumpkin pie recipe, and The Curious Frugal has a recipe that even YOU can make. This would also be a great recipe to make with the kids.
Because we can NEVER have enough pumpkin at a Thanksgiving feast, I'm totally including These Lovely Acres' Pumpkin Pudding on my dessert table. It gets BONUS points for being dairy free and naturally sweetened, too!
I will be the first to admit that I have a weakness for bread. Yummy Lil' Things has a recipe for the BEST Pumpkin Bread. I can practically smell it cooking in my kitchen! I may make this and not share it with anyone else.
Well, I don't know about you, but I just can't WAIT to dig into these delicious dishes! Please spread the love and make sure to visit the recipes above, and maybe even share a few!
What's your favorite Thanksgiving dish?
