Christmas Wreath Cookies

We've been cookie crazy over here. No, not eating them, although the boys have been devouring their share of cookies for sure, but decorating them! After a cookie decorating party we hosted at church for our preschool/kindergarten kiddos, Froot Loop wanted to decorate some more cookies for his teachers! We decided to make wreath cookies!

These were so easy and fun to make! You don't even have to make your own cookies... just find any cookies that are circular in shape! Then, get some green frosting, M&M minis, Twizzlers Pull N Peel candy, and some holly sprinkles

First, ice around the edge of the cookie with the green frosting, leaving the middle unfrosted.

Then, make a bow for your wreath using the Twizzlers. It's not as hard as it looks... each of our bows were half of one strand... bend one end around over the front, bend the other end over the back, then press together.

Then, take a pinch of your sprinkles and distrtibute over the frosted areas.

Finally, take out a bunch of the mini red M&Ms and put a few around the wreath.

Then, repeat until you have as many cookie wreaths as you need! Froot Loop wants to give one to every one of his teachers he encounters at school, so we had to make quite a few for him, as well as Cocoa Puff's three teachers.

I hope you enjoyed these and maybe even make them yourself!

Do you have a Christmas wreath on your door?

An interesting idea for the Christmas decoration. In Poland, we don't use wreath too often, but I think the cookies can be a great bonus for the sweets during this period.
