Wishlist Wednesday:GIANT Checkerboard Game Edition

First of all, Happy FIRST birthday to Cocoa Puff! I love you more than words can ever say! 

It's Wishlist Wednesday time, where I find something on Amazon that I just have to have! 

One of my favorite things to play with as a little girl was this jumbo checkerboard. My dad and I would set this out and play checkers together. I was always the red. ALWAYS. 

I think I still have this checkerboard. It needs to be washed, but I have it in the garage ready to hand down to my boys when they’re ready to learn how to play. I think (I HOPE) I still have all of the pieces. 

The rug is 28” x 28”. It is big enough to sit on the floor and play with. The squares are 3”, as are the plastic pieces. The rug is machine washable, which is amazing! Since the pieces are so big, even the littlest kiddos can play along with you, even if they're not playing Checkers.

And YES, the pieces have locking grooves so you can easily stack the pieces for Kinging! That is very important and makes it much easier to play. 

This is great for picnics or camping too. So much fun and a nice twist on a classic game.
