My Favorite Trail Mix Recipe

I love snacks! Since my gallbladder surgery though, I’m limited as to what I can eat. I have to eat smaller meals/snacks every few hours and I have to keep it to lower fat/high fiber. After making a few batches, I’ve finally made a trail mix recipe that doesn’t make me sick and tastes really good!

It’s really easy to make... I almost feel guilty calling it a recipe, because all you do is mix all the ingredients together...

Anyway, here’s what is in it:

Utz’ pretzel rods, broken into bite-size pieces

Craisins

Dried pineapple chunks

Dried blueberries

Parmesean flavored Goldfish crackers

Cheddar flavored Goldfish crackers

Honeycomb cereal

Whole cashews

Whole almonds, lightly salted

Dehydrated cheese bites

Popcorn

Yep, just mix them all together and enjoy!

Fruity Pebbles approves too, especially after getting to clean up the few pieces that dropped on the kitchen floor.

I like to store it in the plastic containers the pretzels and nuts came in. Convenient and reusing materials! Woo hoo!

What do you like in your snack mix?

I definitely consider this a recipe! I love trail mix that has pretzels in it. If I am not traveling with a trail mix, I like to add chocolate, such as M&Ms. Sometimes cereals can be a nice touch.

This looks great! Chex has a honey nut mix that I like minutes the 1 million pretzels per bag. Also lightly salted almonds and craisins

Ooh, those cheese crispie thingies are the best! I am a happy gal if you give me dry-roasted salted peanuts, raisins, and M&Ms - anything else added in is jus bonus.
This looks so good! I'm missing a lot of foods while on Keto, I wish I could try this!
