Need to Send a Gift? I Got Ya Covered

Sometimes, you just need to give a thank you gift or a birthday gift or a hostess gift and you don't really have any idea what to give... well, I got THIS gift the other day, and I LOVE it, and I think anyone else would love it too. It's a Lavender Chamomile Natural Spa Basket.
This set has 11 pieces, including:
Bath Oil
Body Scrub
Shower Gel
Bath Bomb
Body Mist
Bubble Bath
Hand Soap
Shampoo
Bath Salts
Eva Puff, Plus the nice, gold basket it comes in, which makes a nice touch for just about any bathroom.
It is well rated and a decent price too! And it smells really good. Lavender and Chamomile are both relaxing scents, and together, make a very peaceful and tranquil scent, perfect for an at-home spa experience. Just draw a bath, dim the lights, light some candles, play some music, and let the bath take you away... mmmm, sounds so good right now.
The best part is that the gift set is paraben free as well as cruelty free! How cool is that? I try to use paraben-free products because it is suspected that parabens can cause or accelerate cancer development. Parabens are actually a PRESERVATIVE, made to extend the shelf life of these types of products. It's believed they inhibit mold and bacteria growth, which is a good thing, of course, because you don't want mold and bacteria and your skin products, but do you really want to be slathering on PRESERVATIVES either? The parabens get absorbed through your skin, and can be detected in body tissue, including breast tissue. It is also believed that parabens are hormone disrupters because they closely mimic the estrogen hormone. Having too much estrogen in the body can cause or accelerate tumor growth, which obviously is BAD NEWS!
Parabens also wreck havoc on the environment. Parabens have been found in mammals in the ocean! This happens because parabens are in the products that we use and get sucked down our drains, and as Gil from the movie Finding Nemo taught us, "All Drains Lead to the Ocean."
So, that's why I prefer paraben-free products, and one of the big reasons why I like this gift basket. You COULD buy it as a gift for someone else, or you could buy it as a treat for yourself. I won't judge.
Do you have a go-to gift for housewarming, gift exchanges, etc?
