Triple Review of Three Toy Cars for Babies or Toddlers: Which one is our favorite?

There are countless cars out there in toy land. Type in “car” in an Amazon search, and just in the Toys and Games section alone, there are over 334,000 results! Even the baby section has tons of them.
Cocoa Puff has three basic cars that he plays with regularly. These aren’t cars that belong with any other pieces or sets or anything. These are just basic push and pull cars that have no bells or whistles or anything. I’m sure there are other basic cars that he would love, but these are the three we have.
Features: It comes in blue or red and looks like a hotrod!
Why I like it: It is made of 100% recycled plastic milk containers! It is BPA, phthalate, and PVC free. There are no metal axles. It is dishwasher safe and suitable for play on land or in water. It kind of looks like the Batmobile!
The tl;dr: This is a fun car for babies up to grade schoolers (and beyond) to play with. It is lightweight and super simple. It does not do anything other than roll around (i.e. no pull back motion or anything).
Features: This car has 7 little balls that “pop” when the car is pushed or pulled or rolled.
Why I like it: It is BPA free. It encourages cause and effect when the car is pulled back and released and the car takes off! It makes a little popping noise as the little balls get popped around. It fits well in both baby hands.
Where it can improve: It is the smallest of these three cars. It’s a little hard for Cocoa Puff to pick it up with one hand. It is also the hardest of the three cars to clean.
The tl;dr: This is a basic pull-back-and-release car. It is very simple and lots of fun. Cocoa Puff’s favorite place to play with it is on top of the ottoman when he’s standing next to it.
O ball Rattle and Roll Car (we have the red and yellow one)
Features: The wheels all have a few little balls in them that stimulate visual and audio senses. It’s a simple, basic car.
Why I like it: It is BPA, PVC, latex, and phthalate free. It has all sorts of holes for babies to put their fingers in and easily grab It’s soft and nice to chew on.
Where it can improve: The inside of the wheels are slightly “sharp”, but we have not had any incidents. This particular listing gives you a randomized car. You can pay more to receive your choice. I don’t know if that’s Amazon’s flaw or O Ball’s flaw, but it is fairly annoying.
The tl;dr: This is our favorite (although we love all three). It is another super simple car that is baby powered! The classic o ball holes make it super easy for young babies to grab as soon as they are able to grasp things. Froot Loop steals this toy ALL THE TIME.
While Cocoa Puff also loves to steal his brother’s Hot Wheels and Little Wheelies cars and hold onto those, he really loves these bigger “baby” cars because he can push them and chase them around the room. He can do more than just hold these bigger cars. He also has several VTech GO GO Wheels vehicles, but those are noisy and flashy and they have a place and time (usually in the car or when I REALLY need him to be occupied for a little bit) as well, but I think the non-flashy, basic cars are his favorite.
What cars do your kids play with? Do they seem to multiply when you’re not looking?
