Review of Fisher Price Easy Stack n Sounds Blocks for Babies & Toddlers

Sometimes, the simplest toys are the most fun. This is a set of 3 oversized blocks that have a weighted ball inside. This weighted ball allows for easy stacking, much easier than trying to stack regular blocks or cups, etc.

These blocks are great sensory tools. They appeal to the visual sense because they are so bright and colorful. Each block has two contrasting colors with another bright two-colored ball inside. There’s even a cute little animal face on each ball (but it’s hard to see since it’s just sort of “etched” into the ball. The auditory sense is stimulated from the rattling and jingling noises that each block makes, and each block makes a different sound! The tactile sense is stimulated because each block has a different texture. Plus, the holes on each side of the blocks allow for easy grabbing for the ultimate banging, throwing, shaking, and stacking fun.
These blocks are so much easier to stack. One of my favorite things to do with Cocoa Puff is to stack the blocks together and then let him knock them down. He laughs every time! He also likes to hold onto one of the blocks while he crawls or cruises around the room. He really likes these blocks.
Blocks are easy and simple and are a necessary toy for babies. These are great starter blocks for even the youngest babies, but older babies and toddlers still love them too.
What are the favorite stacking toys in your house?
