Review of Baby Einstein's Take Along Tunes Classical Music Toy for Babies

This toy should be on every baby registry. Froot Loop wore his out because he played with it every day for over 2 years, so I put a new one on Cocoa Puff’s list and I’m so glad I did. This toy is perfect for the car and for diaper bags. It lights up and plays music, so it keeps baby’s attention when they’re strapped in that car seat!
The big button at the bottom is easy for even little babies to push. It cycles through 7 different songs and has three lights that light up with the “beat” of the songs.
The handle is wide and easy to grasp. It has a few spinny beads on it that are also good to chew on!
I love this toy because it plays 7 different classical melodies. It is a great first way to introduce classical music! It has a switch with two different volume levels.
This awesome little toy takes up practically no room and is easily attachable to a stroller or carseat or whatever. The lights and sound get baby’s attention for a few minutes. It is very inexpensive and it’s a best-seller for a reason. That reason is it’s AWESOME!
The songs aren’t annoying at all. I mean, it’s not like listening to the composer by any means, but it’s also not a tinny or super fake sound either. I haven’t gotten sick of it yet, and I’ve heard it every day for over 3 years, some days for hours at a time (those pesky long car trips!)
Featured melodies:
Serenade No. 13 in G, "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik," K525, 1st movement, Mozart (Baby Galileo)
Nocturne No. 6, K239, 1st movement, Mozart (Baby Neptune)
Waltz in GB Op. 70, No.1, Chopin (Traveling Melodies)
The Four Seasons, Spring, 1st movement, Vivaldi (Baby Vivaldi)
William Tell Overture, "Lone Ranger", Rossini (Playtime Music Box)
Piano Sonata in A, K331, 3rd movement, Mozart (Baby Mozart)
The Four Seasons, Summer, 1st and 3rd movements, Vivaldi (Baby Vivaldi)
There are some of my favorite classical pieces on here!
I cannot think of a negative thing about this. It’s just pure awesomeness.
What toys do you give your kids in the car/waiting room/etc?
