This toy should be on every baby registry. Froot Loop wore his out because he played with it every day for over 2 years, so I put a new one on Cocoa Puff’s list and I’m so glad I did. This toy is perfect for the car and for diaper bags. It lights up and plays music, so it keeps baby’s attention when they’re strapped in that car seat!

The big button at the bottom is easy for even little babies to push. It cycles through 7 different songs and has three lights that light up with the “beat” of the songs.

The handle is wide and easy to grasp. It has a few spinny beads on it that are also good to chew on!

I love this toy because it plays 7 different classical melodies. It is a great first way to introduce classical music! It has a switch with two different volume levels.

This awesome little toy takes up practically no room and is easily attachable to a stroller or carseat or whatever. The lights and sound get baby’s attention for a few minutes. It is very inexpensive and it’s a best-seller for a reason. That reason is it’s AWESOME!

The songs aren’t annoying at all. I mean, it’s not like listening to the composer by any means, but it’s also not a tinny or super fake sound either. I haven’t gotten sick of it yet, and I’ve heard it every day for over 3 years, some days for hours at a time (those pesky long car trips!)

Featured melodies:
Serenade No. 13 in G, "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik," K525, 1st movement, Mozart (Baby Galileo)
Nocturne No. 6, K239, 1st movement, Mozart (Baby Neptune)
Waltz in GB Op. 70, No.1, Chopin (Traveling Melodies)
The Four Seasons, Spring, 1st movement, Vivaldi (Baby Vivaldi)
William Tell Overture, "Lone Ranger", Rossini (Playtime Music Box)
Piano Sonata in A, K331, 3rd movement, Mozart (Baby Mozart)
The Four Seasons, Summer, 1st and 3rd movements, Vivaldi (Baby Vivaldi)

There are some of my favorite classical pieces on here!

I cannot think of a negative thing about this. It’s just pure awesomeness.

What toys do you give your kids in the car/waiting room/etc?

I am so glad I'm past the point of the noisy baby toys! Although they were a lot cheaper than the iPads and smart phones my kids want now!

Sounds like an awesome toy to give to toddlers and babies! It's going to get them interested in music at such a young age.

It's really cool that this toy has classical songs. Sometimes the music in such toys are not soothing and can irritate babies. I used to give a lot of musical toys to my son when he was a baby.

Sounds like a really fun toy, and introducing classical music to the child is so very important! Also, it's great when you find a toy that really makes your child happy, thanks for the recommendation!

Toys are tools to deliver learning. It is the parent that does the work. You can make a toy by hand or buy them from the store, but when you use them effectively babies learn. Talk vibrantly with stimulating facial expressions, sing songs nursery songs, clap your hands and teach the baby how to clap, dance to music while holding the baby close, and read plenty of books (do expressive reading), point and name pictures, shapes, and colors in the book. All this stimulates the baby's brain cells, thus ultimate learning takes place, it i develops vocabulary, rhythm, motor/coordination, social and thinking skills.
Babies truly learn though play.
