Trucks and Ambulances and Police Cars, oh my! Review of Melissa & Doug's Stacking Emergency Vehicles

My boys LOVE trucks. My oldest even had a Construction Truck birthday party and I'm pretty sure Cocoa Puff is going to have a fire truck party for his 3rd birthday this summer.
Froot Loop was given a set of these stacking Construction Trucks puzzles a few years ago. He didn't play with them a whole lot, but man, as soon as he could successfully grab things, Cocoa Puff played with these all the time!
Then, of course, once Cocoa Puff started playing with them, Froot Loop suddenly developed an interest in them and wouldn't let Cocoa Puff touch them anymore. Sigh...
So, we got him these Stackable Emergency Vehicles puzzles.
It's a set of three vehicles: a fire truck, ambulance (or Ahm-BEE-ance as he calls it), and a police car. Each vehicle has 3-4 pieces that fit together on the pegs. You can mix and match a bit too!
So, first, Cocoa Puff will take all the vehicles apart.
Then, he likes to make his own creations. For some reason, he likes to put the body of the police car and the body of the ambulance on the same car.
Then he likes to put them all together the "right way."
Of course, then, he takes them all apart again...
... and puts them back together...
and then drives them all around everywhere.
I love the bright colors of both of the sets. Of course, Froot Loop's favorite is the orange scooper truck, because, hi... orange!
They are made with the usual high quality you'd expect from Melissa and Doug and they're so much fun.
Froot Loop, Cocoa Puff, and I all give these 2 thumbs up. They'd make a great gift for a toddler!
What's your favorite vehicle?
