Product: Stitch Fix

Back in December I wrote about my first experience with StitchFix. I wasn't 100% thrilled with my first box but I gave them a second chance and I am SO GLAD I did! Plus, now, they even have extras you can add to your box! (but more on that later)

I got an email saying my Fix was on its way and I was pretty excited, although I was hoping that this box would be better than the first one.

It finally arrived and I immediately got to unboxing it. The return envelope for anything you want to return was right on top of the clothes, which were nicely wrapped inside tissue paper.

It's free to return or exchange items, which is a HUGE plus for me.

The first item was this necklace. It's not 100% my style, but it actually goes very well with a few of the shirts in my closet, so I kept it. It also actually made the whole box cheaper if I kept it, but more on that later.

Cost: $28

Verdict: KEEP!

The first item of clothing was this really pretty blouse! I LOVE the colors and I LOVE that it's a tank top with the mesh at the top. One of my main complaints with my last Fix was that I was sent so many items intended for winter, and here in south Texas, it just doesn't get cold for very long so I asked for summer items or HOT weather items. I'm so glad my stylist listened to me! I LOVE this blouse. It fits me great and acutally will fit me if I gain or lose a few pounds (good LORD I don't need to gain any more weight, but anyway).

Cost: $44 (Note: this is a major splurge for me, but I am treating myself. I do not usually spend this much on a single item of clothing!)

Verdict: KEEP!

Next was a cool Tshirt dress. I LOVE Tshirts and I wear them around the house all the time. I like how the cotton feels. This dress is amazing and it's so soft and lightweight. It looks great on me too even though it's a little big. They did send it in a size up from my usual size, but that's okay because I prefer my dresses to be a little larger so I have room to move around.

If I wanted to, I could wear the yellow blouse over it, and I may do that. The necklace I received looks pretty nice with it as well.

Cost: $38 (might be a little on the high side, but I really do like it)

Verdict: KEEP!

I was a little surprised by the next item. It's a Kimono top! I wore it over the Tshirt dress and it looked fantastic! I loved how it felt. It's very lightweight and I really like the color combination. I got tons of compliments on it, too.

Cost: $48 (whew... high, but again, I splurged because I really liked it and really needed some new clothes for summer)

Verdict: KEEP!

Finally, I got this maxi skirt with a side slit. I REALLY needed a new maxi skirt, and I'll tell you, THIS IS IT! I wore it with the yellow shirt and it paired very well. I LOVE skirts like this and this is PERFECTLY my style. It looked good on me and felt good. It was also a size up than I usually wear, but that's okay. If I lose weight, it may hang on me a little funny, but I'll deal with that when and if I need to. I could have exchanged it for a size smaller, but nahhhhhh.

Cost: $38, and worth EVERY PENNY

Verdict: KEEP!

Now, since I kept all five items, I got a 25% discount, which is why it was cheaper to just keep the necklace that I liked, but didn't love. Plus, I had the $20 I had already invested into the stylist fee, which they took off the overall price.

So, if you haven't heard much about Stitch Fix, it's an online styling company. You don't have to go to the store and try things on. Such a time saver. There's tons of questions you fill out when you sign up so that your stylist gets a good idea of what you like.

You have your basics: height and weight and sizes.

Then, you have more specific questions about how clothes fit you, which is nice, because some things don't fit me as well in the hips as they do in the waist.

Here's some more questions they ask to try to get your style down.

Then you need to pick how well you like the outfits on the screen. This is very helpful for sure.

Just answer all the questions honestly to get the best chance of finding your best style.

You can pick and choose colors and styles you like or dislike, which I appreciate.

It really did not take that long to fill out. There's also a place where you can share a Pinterest board for your stylist to see what your "dream" styles are. Apparently, it is REALLY helpful for the stylists and I haven't done this yet.

And now, they have added a fun new option to add extras to your StitchFix box!

I love this idea, but I'm good on these types of items right now so I opted to pass on them for now. The price was a little on the higher side, but I typically buy my intimates from Walmart or Target so I'm not the best person to ask about this!

There's also a StitchFix line for guys too! Honey Graham does not want or need anything though, but I may try it sometime down the road. He's kind of an awkward size to buy for, so maybe it's worth a shot. I'll let y'all know if I decide to go for it.

If you want to try Stitch Fix for yourself for free (meaning you only pay for what you keep and do not pay the $20 styling fee), click on my referral link HERE. Enjoy your fix!

What's your typical clothing style?

Oh man. This looks awesome! I'm starting back to work next month, and this may be something I need to invest in. I love all of the items you received!

I love them all too. The price is fairly reasonable... and would be more reasonable if I was working a job with steady income. I hope you do try it (use my link please... it helps us both out!) and love it!
