Here's what came in my first BarkBox!! My dogs could barely contain their excitement.

Recently, I decided to try BarkBox. I had a pretty decent deal, so I took the plunge and went for it! Our first box came, and I thought I'd share its contents with you!
I was so excited when I went to the post office and this box was waiting for me. I immediately took it home to open for my dogs.
The wrapping was even cute! It was New York City themed! Very chic!
There was a card on top that enabled your dog to "join" the club, which was cute. I still need to do this.
Then there was a little summary card that explained the contents of the box, which I thought was helpful!
Finally! Onward to the contents of the box! Up first was a SUPER cute Statue of Liberty chew toy ball.
Fruity Pebbles immediately went for it and made it squeak squeak squeak for several minutes.
It barely fit in her mouth but she was determined to chew on it and chase it around.
Trix was less than impressed with it, but she chewed on the outside cover of it for a minute or two before letting Fruity Pebbles have it back.
SQUEAK SQUEAK SQUEAK!
Next in the box was this adorable crinkle pretzel rope toy. After the boys were done playing tug of war with it, I gave it to the pups.
Fruity Pebbles loved it.
I gave it to Trix, but she decided she wasn't in a playing mood right then. She has played with it almost every day since though.
Aha! On to the good stuff, the TREATS! There were two bags of New York themed treats in the bottom of the box.
The first one is a bagel snack! Check out the ingredients-- all good stuff!
Next was a pizza themed treat, also made with all good stuff! Super duper.
Both of the girls just went bonkers when I opened the bagel treats. You'd think I hadn't fed them in WEEKS! I gave them both a couple of them and they just looked at me like, "hey, that's it? I'd like the rest of the bag please!"
Then they both got a couple of the pizza treats and again looked at me with those big brown puppy eyes, begging for more.
Then I gave Lucky Charms some of the treats. They were very small for him, so he got 3 of each. He took them very nicely and really enjoyed them.
Then I gave in and gave the girls each a couple more treats...
which meant that Lucky Charms needed some more too.
Each box also comes with a tasty chew treat. We got a buffalo one!
The girls just LOVED it. I broke it in half so they could each have some. Poor Lucky Charms missed out on this one, but I gave him another handful of the pizza and bagel treats so he was still pretty happy.
All in all, I'm so pleased with our first BarkBox.
When you sign up for your BarkBox plan, you have the choice to enter the size of your dogs and whether there's any allergies. There's also a DESTROYERS CLUB for those pups who love to chew (neither of these options cost any more and you can change them at any time, as well as the size of your dog).
What are you waiting for!? SUBSCRIBE TODAY! Shipping is always free, and your first box ships immediately. Subsequent months ship on the 15th of the month. There's a theme every month, and each box has at least two toys and two bags of treats. All the treats are made in the USA or Canda.
If your pup doesn't totally love an item in their BarkBox, they'll send them a replacement for FREE! No muss, no fuss, no disappointed pups.
Previous themes have been Knights of the Hound Table, Chewrassic Bark, The Good The Bad and the Pugly, and more.
There's also a fun shop where you can purchase other toys, treats, and chews. I will be ordering other varieties of the New York themed treats and I may buy another toy or two.
Customer service is amazing and I highly recommend this subscription box for any dog owner or dog lover. I had a question about my order and they emailed back within 24 hours and fixed the minor issue (my fault, not theirs) immediately. It's totally afforadable and I am pleased with the quality so far. I can't wait for my next box and I'll definitely be sharing it with y'all!
What's your favorite big city?
