Now I have a TARDIS in my bed! (I have new sheets!)

So y'all know that we're huge scifi nuts here in this family. Well, we recently upgraded our sleeping areas, so I thought we should upgrade our sheets and bedding as well. 

So, Cocoa Puff and Froot Loop have twin beds in their room. Froot Loop has a lofted bed above Cocoa Puff, but they're still not to the point where they can go to sleep together in the same room. We put Cocoa Puff in Daddy's bed until he konks out and then I move him into his bed after he's asleep. 

We're getting rid of our full bed in the spare bedroom/Daddy's bed (long story, but right now, Honey Graham is sleeping in the spare bedroom. No there's nothing wrong in our relationship.... I just sleep a lot better by myself right now and until I get my health back in order, sleep is my number one priority...) and putting my queen bed in there instead. 

We have gotten a king bed that will go in our bedroom. Once we get everything moved around and once I start getting healthier, I'll finally have my Honey Graham back in the same room as me. 

So, now we needed to get new sheets for our new king bed, and while I was getting new sheets, I thought I'd just get new ones all around! 

Cocoa Puff picked out this adorable dinosaur comforter! We already have tons of full size sheets, so I didn't need to buy any of those, but since he's now in his "big boy" bed, I thought he should be able to pick out a big boy comforter for his new bed. His three loves are dinosaurs, trains, and pink. Since I have already made him a train blanket (more like a sheet), dinosaurs were the perfect choice! He has dinosaur animals (I wrote about them HERE), so it's a pretty perfect choice. 

I also let Froot Loop pick out a new comforter for his lofted bed. I love his choice: this reversible space comforter! He loves outer space, and he even enjoys Star Trek and Doctor Who too, so of the choices I gave him, this one is a perfect choice for him as well. 

For the Queen bed, although it's not a NEW bed for us, since it was around Honey Graham's birthday, I asked him to pick out some new sheets. He found these AWESOME Star Trek: TNG sheets on wikibuy!. I just love it. It is the epitome of Star Trek TNG. Now, if only we could find those weird metallic blankets like they have on the show.... and I'll pass on the rock-hard-looking pillows, although I'd really like a handful of Star Trek fhrow pillows. Maybe I can find some engineering, command, and science badge pillows or an Enterprise or something. 

We will still keep using this pretty comforter I bought earlier this year for that bed though. It's lightweight and it works well for most of the year in there. 

Finally, I went ALL OUT for the new king bed. While I was purchasing the TNG sheets on WIkibuy, I found some Doctor Who sheets!!! TARDIS SHEETS! TARDIS SHEETS! 

And LOOK, they even had TARDIS pillows! I bought TWO! 

I already had THIS TARDIS pillow, so it fits in PERFECTLY. 

Finally, this is my favorite throw blanket. Honey Graham got it for me a couple years ago for my birthday. I usually have it on the couch downstairs for if I get cold, but I may just use it in my bed now, especially since I just got one of my grandma's quilts she made before she passed away...

I also got a set of flamingo sheets and beach themed sheets for the king bed (always good to have backups, you know, and I could NOT resist the flamingo sheets!), but the Doctor Who ones are by FAR my favorite!
