Wishlist Wednesday: Usborne Wind Up & Pull Back Books

My boys have always loved books and always loved reading. They've also always loved cars and trucks and anything with wheels. Usborne Books & More has found the CUTEST way to combine these two! Froot Loop and Cocoa Puff want them all!

Wind-Up Bus

A wind-up model of a red, double-decker London bus and four tracks take you on a tour of the famous city. Find out about London's most famous landmarks and attractions as your bus stops on its way. The four tracks can also be taken out of the book and joined together to make one huge track for the bus to travel around.

Other Wind-Up books have vehicles that you can wind up and watch zoom around the tracks on the pages of these exciting interactive books.

Wind-Up Race Cars

You can race the cars against each other on three different tracks.

Wind-Up Pirate Ship

Wind-Up Plane

Wind-Up Tractor

Wind-Up Train

Three train stories are retold with a new twist! Each story has a sturdy track embedded in the pages which the accompanying wind-up train toy can then be placed upon to follow around and bring the story to life.

These books are terrific for reading comprehension and storytelling for toddlers! Let's do it again! And again! And again! Watch a Video HERE

There's also a variety of Pull-Back books! Watch as the car whizzes around the tracks in these delightful interactive books. Wind up the vehicle by pulling it backward, place it on the tracks on the pages of the books, and let it go!

Pull-Back Busy Car Book

Pull-Back Busy Bug Book

Pull-Back Busy Helicopter Book

Pull-Back Busy Train Book

Pull-Back Busy Santa Book

There's even a Santa version! This is a fabulous storybook with four embedded tracks and a pull-back Santa in a sleigh. Little children will enjoy sending Santa on his jolly way again and again. What a perfect Christmas gift!

Which of these would the kids in your life go the craziest over? For me, Froot Loop would love the helicopter, and Cocoa Puff wouldn't get enough of the train books!

We have the busy bug book, and I think it's really cute! I do think they can be a little bit pricey, but overall pretty cute and my daughters love the book! Great review post.

My kids are all adults, but I now have four granddaughters. The three oldest (ages 1 1/2 to 6) love to look at / read books. I can imagine them being excited about any or all of these books. And Usborne books are so well known and high quality, they're worth the price.
