Wishlist Wednesday: Ottoman Edition

UGH! This Wishlist Wednesday comes just in time! It's replacing something I already own that recently broke:

I actually had TWO of these storage ottomans. One of them is still in decent shape and it is placed in front of the couch to keep all the toys from rolling under it. It also stores a lot of my craft supplies where I can easily get to them.

The other one, however, I use as storage for my coloring books and supplies, and I also use it as my footrest. Well, the boys kept climbing on it and jumping on it and it just gave up. It didn't help that I had to sit on it one day to help one of the boys with something. Yeah, it's toast.

I NEED A NEW ONE!

My mom has two of these, and I . loved it so much that I bought one for us, too. They're pretty much essential if you have kids and need a place to throw their crap ASAP!

We have something similar at the end of our bed to keep linens in but it is wicker. I eventually want to replace it with a much nicer and longer lasting storage chest

An ottoman is going to be one of the first things we buy when we move to a bigger place! I like to lay down to read, but in my partner and I's office we only have desk chairs, so I'd love to have a cute ottoman to relax on when I feel like reading ☺️

Oh noooo! That is frustrating! We have never had one of these until earlier this month, when I got my now 9-y-o one of the footstool-sized ones for a little seat for her bedroom, at her request. She absolutely LOVES it so far and it's supposed to hold up to 300 lbs, and I've already taught her that it is for sitting NOT bouncing, so am hoping it has a long and happy life. And FWIW, I had been researching them for awhile and keeping my eyes open, when I found this one in an open-box deal on Amazon Warehouse - there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but b/c it was a return, I got it for a good price!

A storage ottoman is one of the first few furniture pieces that me and my husband bought when we moved into our first home together. It provides extra storage space which we love!

I thought maybe a storage ottoman would work for extra shoes near the back door. I think we'll have to go with something a little sturdier like a wooden bench.
