Polka Dots and Moonbeams

"Suddenly I saw polka dots and moonbeams all around a pug-nosed dream."

-Frank Sinatra

Well, there may not be moonbeams in this painting, but there are sure polka dots!

All you need is some tempera paint, Round Sponge Brushes, and a canvas to paint on

Just squirt a little bit of the desired colors (he picked reds, pinks, and purple since it's Valentine's Day season) onto a palette or a paper plate...

... and get to work!

Make sure to fill up the canvas, and even get some dots along the edges and corners!

Cool, right? So easy. And any activity that involves paint is a favorite around here!

What is the color scheme of your house?

Oh, gosh, our house doesn't have a single color scheme (though each room does!). (most do, anyway.) I love this idea, though - it turned out great! :)

What a fun activity! I will have to get some of the paint brushes you used in this craft project. I don't know how I haven't seen those brushes before.

This looks so easy, but so pretty! I can see my toddler doing this in a year or so - and I wouldn't mind hanging it on my wall!! haha.

I love this idea! My son absolutely loves to paint and will enjoy another excuse to paint. He will probably go red, blue and green.
