BarkBox Unboxing & Review: January 2019

BarkBox is our favorite subscription box, and for good reason too! Check out what we got in our January 2019 BarkBox, which was Viking themed and a lot of fun!

Just look at all those goodies! As always, BarkBox includes two toys (catered to what my dogs love), two bags of treats, a chew stick, and some other fun stuff.

Of course, the first thing we had to try were the Viking Hats! I was pretty amused by this, but the pups really weren't.

As for the actual unboxing, check out the video below (and apologies that the first part is a little out of order!)

As you can see, BarkBox day is always super exciting for us!

For some reason, Trix doesn't like the toys as much as her sister, Fruity Pebbles, does. She doesn't play with toys much inside, but man, if you start throwing toys outside with her, she won't stop until she can't run anymore!

BarkBox's customer service is superior to ANY other customer service I've encountered. If you have the slightest problem, they will get back to you and MAKE. IT. RIGHT. If for some reason, you dog doesn't like the toys or the treats, they'll send you a new one. I just LOVE that about them.

Omg the Viking hats are the cutest!! I’ve wanted to try the barkbox for my pup but I didn’t know if it was worth it. Awesome post!

Our lab loved getting Bark Boxes in the mail. She couldn't wait for them to be opened. They always have the cutest toys, and Indy loved them all. Allie hates toys, so I cancelled our Bark Boxes after we lost our Indy last spring.

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. :( it's so hard... we lost our Crunch Berries almost 2 years ago now, and I STILL have days where I just CRY over her.

Too cute! Altho, I know my dogs won't go for any kind of hat! That Viking hat is adorable! My dogs would shred the chewable toys and love every second!!

When I adopted my heeler last summer, I debated between BarkBox and Bullymake. BarkBox has some super cute toys (and pretty durable -- my sister in law gets one for her lab each month), but my dog has allergies and Bullymake has a toy-only option rather than toys and treats like BarkBox so it was the winner. Other than the Viking hats, your dogs look like they really enjoy their BarkBox!

I've thought about looking more into this but our baby isn't interested in toys. She'd rather sleep and eat. Lol she also likes sitting in front of the heater.

The Viking hats are so cute. I have debated whether to try barkbox but my dog isn’t really into toys anymore now that he is older. I know he would love the treats though.

We have an aggressive chewer as well. We have this option in our BarkBox. They send toys that are made for aggressive chewers. Yes, the wrapper may eventually come off of the toy, but inside is another toy that doesn't get destroyed.

And if they still destroy it... they'll replace it. That's what I love about them.

Those viking hats are too funny! I especially love the idea of getting dog treats mailed to me since my pup isn't as into toys now that she's up in age.

We just recently subscribed to this box and I absolutely love what you get inside for the cost per month. We did the 12 month subscription so that we got the most discounted price of the $29.99 a month. Such a great value for 4 treats and 2 toys for my pup a month.

The first box I received was the small box and it only had one toy and one treat. I was disappointed because I was expecting at least two treats and one toy.
