You've Gotta Try These All-Natural Health and Beauty Products Made with Beeswax From the Wholesome Hive!

Y'all know I'm somewhat of a "crunchy" mama... you know, natural products, essential oils, recycling, things like that. Natural products are a part of my health and beauty routine too. I found a really cool company that specializes in making natural health and beauty products: The Wholesome Hive!.
If you haven't heard of beeswax before, it's an AMAZING thing. It's a GREAT additive to essential oils and it does wonderful things for the skin, such as moisturizing. (It also is great for all sorts of things around the house too, but that's a post for a different day!) The Wholesome Hive uses a variety of all-natural ingredients for their products, including on-site sourced beeswax! How cool is that?
I got a few products from The Wholesome Hive to try out, and I was practically giddy with excitement when it finally arrived.
Ooooh! I went straight for the Lip Luster. It was silky and creamy and felt just fine on my mouth. Plus, there's some shimmer, which is always a plus. The lip luster comes in sizzling cinnamon, golden glow, and date night.
Continuing with the lip products, next, I opened the Creamy Cocoa Lip Butter. It had a feel similar to your regular ol' lip balm, but it was a little smoother and silkier. There's a bit of chocolate flavor from the cocoa butter and cacao powder added to the beeswax!
Ah, here's the regular Lip Balm in my favorite flavor, peppermint! I love how peppermint essential oil feels on the lips, so I was pleasantly delighted at the cool, refreshing tingle of this really nice lip balm. It's my new favorite and I'm going to have to order more since I'm nearly out of it.
I SWEAR by herbal salve. I use it on practically EVERYTHING since weaning the boys from nursing. (Expressed milk is my first choice, but herbal salve is a close second!). I sometimes make my own, but I don't usually feel like making a mess of my kitchen, so it is SO convenient to have reasonably priced, high-quality salve delivered right to my door. This stuff is GREAT! According to their website, This is a jack-of-all-trades salve that will work wonders on cuts, scrapes, dry skin, burns, rashes, and many other skin issues! Herbs are soaked in olive oil for a number of weeks and then combined with beeswax, coconut oil, and essential oils to create an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal blend that is definitely worth keeping on hand.
I use my salve on bug bites, papercuts, acne, itchy feet, rashes, dandruff, dry skin, and so much more. I even use super concentrated salve on my face when I have a sinus infection or a cold. IT WORKS AND IT IS AMAZING. This is my new favorite salve and I need to have one in every hand bag that I ever take with me and put some in each bathroom in the house. I swear, I use this stuff all the time!
Yay! Body Butter. I enjoyed how this smelled and felt. It's a whipped body butter containing various butters and oils. It's not too heavy or greasy, either. I'm very picky about my lotions and body butters, but this gets two thumbs up from me.
I also tried the lavender deodorant. Yes, you can use natural deodorant, and it's so much better for you than the ones with various recipes containing aluminums in it. (Plus, I think it smells LOADS better and actually keeps YOU smelling better). It's definitely worth a try.
