How to HEAL your skin NATURALLY: Review of Antifungal Soap with Tea Tree Oil

Sigh. Despite my best efforts, I have chronic athletes foot. It goes away for awhile, but it always flares up occasionally. I have products that help take care of the flare ups (I like Gentian Violet, Clotrimazole, and straight Tea Tree Oil and/or Lavender essential oil, but I like this soap from ArtNaturals to help with every day prevention.
Firstly, it smells amazing. There’s tea tree oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, coconut and olive oils, oregano oil, and aloe vera so you have an awesome lineup of antifungal oils packed in there. It also blends well with the shampoo and conditioner and body wash I use (see shampoo/conditioner post HERE, body wash HERE, soap HERE).
Secondly, it really helps keep the Athlete’s foot flareups down. My foot itches a lot less and I have flareups maybe half as often when I use it. The flareups are also not quite as bad when they do happen. Thank you, ArtNaturals. You’ve saved me.
Thirdly, it works great with itchy scalp! Hey, we all get itchy scalp once in awhile. This stuff, when used on the scalp, mixed with your regular shampoo, practically eliminates the itching. It does make your hair a little more oily since there’s so much essential oil in the soap, but if you mix it with your regular shampoo and go easy on the conditioner, it’s not so bad, at least for me.
Fourthly, it is the BEST for washing up after a workout. Since it has tea tree, rosemary, and peppermint essential oils in it, it is absolutely wonderful for helping with bacterial odor in your “private” and sweaty areas. Just go easy on it until you know how you’ll react to it since some people are sensitive to the peppermint and rosemary (and DO NOT USE IT ON KIDS!). The combination of the amazing smells help with odors and the essential oils in it help fight the bacteria that cause body odors. So even if your gym doesn’t have a shower or if you only have a few seconds to clean up after a workout, just lather up the “important” areas with this soap, rinse, and dry off and you’re good to go.
Fifthly, It helps with acne. My acne (especially body acne) has really calmed down since I started using this stuff.
Sixthly, it helps ease bug bites. I use straight tea tree oil on my bug bites since I react so badly to most bug bites. This soap helps since it has such a high concentration of tea tree oil.
So what I do with it? I wash and condition my hair as usual. I use my body wash/soap. Then, I squirt a quarter sized dollop into my hands. I put about half of it on my feet, getting between the toes and all around the bottom and heel. I put some on my underarms. Then, I get my upper chest/shoulders/back/face with the rest. All done! I smell good and feel good.
I included the ingredients and instructions from the bottle below:
Ingredients: Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (Tea Tree), Saponified Jojoba (Potassium Jojobate), Saponified Coconut Oil (Potassium Cocoate), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract (Rosemary), Saponified Olive Oil (Potassium Olivate), Origanum Vulgare Oil (Oregano), Mentha Piperita Oil (Peppermint), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (Aloe Vera), Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil (Eucalyptus).
Directions: Simply add body wash to a cloth, loofah, or the hands and apply to the entire body and feet, focusing on affected areas of itch or irritation. After gently scrubbing rinse thoroughly. For best results include Anti Fungal Body Wash in your twice daily shower or bathing routine. Fungi, bacteria, microbes and body odor will diminish with each application.
Do you still have acne breakouts?
