Good Morning! Happy Monday! Monday mornings mean Quickie Question time! This last week, I have started yet another small business! I just joined with Usborne Books & More as an Independent Consultant and I could NOT be happier about it.

I love reading, and I've spent most of my life as a Mama reading to my boys. One of the very first books Froot Loop received was That's Not My Monster, a Touchy Feeley book with textured pages that helps babies and toddlers develop fine motor skills. The bright pictures, with their patches of different textures, are designed to develop sensory and language awareness. Babies and toddlers love turning the pages and touching the touchy-feely patches. There's a tons of different Touchy Feely books available if you'd like to check them out HERE

Anyway, I wanted to ask y'all this for my Quickie Question:

What's your favorite book? Bonus Question: What's your children(s)' favorite book?

In case you're interested, here's some information about Usborne Books & More, and you can shop from my site HERE. I will have more information this week about this amazing company and their incredible books.

Usborne Books & More is a division of Educational Development Corporation (EDC), a well-established company that has twice been recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of The 200 Best Small Companies in America  and three times by Fortune Magazine as one of America's 100 Fastest Growing Small Companies, and has been in existence for over 20 years.

On March 1, 1989, the direct selling division was created to concentrate exclusively on selling Usborne books. In late 2008, EDC acquired Kane Miller Publishing, an internationally known publisher of children's books with over 20 years in the industry.

Today, Usborne Books & More distributes books through thousands of independent consultants who sell directly to the consumer via home shows, direct sales, book fairs, and web sites.  Also, when registered as an Educational Consultant, can sell to schools and libraries.

I have always loved Usborne books! My eldest son was a very busy toddler and I loved that many of the books were incredibly interactive and kept his attention. Good luck on your new endeavors!

Yes. I have an early reader. My 5 year old is already reading at a second grade level!

One thing I've learned in my 15 months of being a parent: you can never have too many books. Right now my daughter is very into the touchy-feely books. And she also loves anything with animals or babies.
Mama Writes Reviews - April 30, 2018 10:35 PM
Both of my kiddos love those still! My two, almost 3, year old is trying really hard to read them and my older son who's reading 2 grade levels ahead likes to use them for writing practice. He pretty much just copies them, but I love that we can still use them!

USBORNE Books & more were born in the middle of my children being born. Wow, that sounds like a long time ago. I wish you success in your new venture. My children loved books too, well some still do. Thank heavens for the schools Schoolastic program because they always had a couple .99 cent books in each level and that is how they got new books.
