Kids. They're such picky eaters. One thing that I've always been able to get my kids to eat is Annie's Shells & Cheese

Real Food Tastes Better™ For 25 years, Annie’s has been nourishing families with simple, down-to-earth foods that taste great and are easy to love. Annie’s Shells & White Cheddar continues to be our most popular product -- and with good reason! Creamy white cheddar cheese with organic shell pasta makes a delicious lunch or dinner for the whole family, packing 10g of protein in each serving. We never use artificial flavors, synthetic colors, or preservatives in our mac and cheese. Made with real cheese from cows not treated with the growth hormone rBST*.

Brand Story: In 1989, Annie Withey co-founded Annie’s Homegrown with the goal of giving families healthy and delicious foods and to show by example that a successful business can also be socially responsible. Annie chose Bernie, her pet rabbit, to be the brand’s “Rabbit of Approval.” She put her address and phone number on the original boxes to encourage consumers to connect with her. Today, we continue to value direct and honest communication with our consumers. Our Products: We sell premium products made from high-quality natural and organic ingredients at affordable prices. Our products appeal to health-conscious consumers who seek to avoid the artificial flavors, synthetic colors and preservatives used in many conventional packaged foods. Today, we offer over 135 products, including mac and cheese, Cheddar Bunnies™, fruit snacks, crackers, graham snacks, granola bars, frozen pizza, frozen entrees, salad dressings, condiments, and more. Our Ingredients: Annie’s sources only from places and people we trust, with high emphasis on quality, as well as agricultural and environmental sustainability. We believe in transparency. We have long-standing relationships with key suppliers of natural and organic ingredients. We source only ingredients stated to be free of genetically modified organisms and strive to use ingredients that are as near to their whole, natural state as possible. The bottom line: we know that real food tastes better. That’s why every ingredient we use to make our food is chosen with care. *No significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBST-treated and non rBST-treated cows

Ingredients
Durum Semolina Pasta (Durum Semolina, Water), Cheddar Cheese (Cultured Pasteurized Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Whey, Buttermilk, Butter, Salt.
Directions

Easy to cook in 10 minutes. Annie's Way: Boil: 6 cups water in medium saucepan. Stir: in pasta, bring to a boil again. Cook: at Medium boil for 8 -10 minutes or until done. Drain in a colander. Add: 2-4 tbsp lowfat milk (or 1/2 cup yogurt) and cheese sauce mix to the warm saucepan and mix well with a whisk. Pour: pasta over sauce, mix well and serve. Traditional way: for richer flavor, add 2 tbsp of butter.

Health wise, it's not that bad as far as pasta goes. Plus, again, the kids will eat it, so it's a common go-to around here.

We love to mix in chicken or turkey dogs, veggies, and other things to change it up some. It's also delicious just on its own! And, I feel comfortable with the kids (and I) eating it fairly regularly.

The White Cheddar is our favorite, but the aged cheddar is delicious as well. Actually, I think I'm going to make this for dinner tonight!

My kids love Annie's mac n cheese. It is the only one I get for them, and they like any variety - the shells, the mac, etc. Good stuff!

I was unfamiliar with Annie's until my wife developed a gluten intolerance while pregnant. Annie's gluten free mac n cheese got us through a rough 40 weeks and I will forever be eternally grateful!

I love Annie's products, but have never realized the story behind them before. Love the idea of mixing items in to make it a full dinner. We have done that for years, but have not recently. Thanks as we are planning our September meals.

Oh my gosh, we have Annie’s Mac and cheese—all the varieties—in our house way more often than I would like to admit in a public forum lol. My kids love it!

Yum! Now I'm in the mood for mac n cheese! I used to love Annie's gluten free mac n cheese back when I was eating dairy - so it's been a few years ugh!
